WHAT IS A DOULA?
Doulas are trained to provide information, emotional support, and physical comfort to a birthing person and their partner during pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum. Doulas can also provide support for you through any change or or transition in life such as an adoption, miscarriage, medical procedures, or divorce.
WHAT KIND OF DOULA AM I?
I provide unbiased and compassionate support to families in the greater Denver area during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, with a focus on mental health.
I also provide doula support for women who are currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

Linnell is a great doula! We used her for the first few weeks after our second came home as well as invited her on a family trip. She came over and supported us during the baby's witching hour to allow us time to give our undivided attention to our oldest as we transitioned to a family of four. Those first few weeks were hard on her and being able to have bedtime with both parents was priceless. She also helped with overnight feedings and sleep to allow me and my husband some much needed rest. On our family trip, she spent 24/7 with us for 4 days. She helped us with everything. I trusted her which allowed us to enjoy our vacation 100%. Hi, I'm Linnell
Your denver doula, educator, & photographer
I am a Colorado native and the oldest of six. I grew up in Southeast Aurora and Strasburg. I first realized my passion for birth when I saw TLC's show "A Baby Story" in high school. I originally wanted to be a midwife, but I am so happy that things worked out the way they did. I absolutely love being a doula. I get to support families through pregnancy, labor, and through the fourth trimester while I document their journey. I also support women who are currently facing breast cancer treatment.
